Know Your Rights Spanish Session
Join our “Know Your Rights” session in Spanish this Wednesday right before Tree of Life’s Mother’s Group. This session is open to all people interested in learning what is going on in the actual situation and how to be prepared in different scenarios. It’s not a legal advice session.

Haitian Mother Group/Financial Literacy
Today at our Haitian Mother’s Group we had another Financial Literacy session to teach them some carreer pathways they can pursue. Thanks to JPNDC for this amazing session, The Community Builders for offering the space, and the Boston-Suffolk County Family Resource Center for donating multiple sets of bedding. Mothers were so happy to receive them!

We have 30 registered families
Beyond thankful and blessed to be able to count on those who contributed in some way or another for us to have another successful event for our expectant families.
It was definitely a surprise for all who attended.

Our traditional annual Community Baby Shower is registering now! Our goal is to register 30 moms. First registered, first served.
¡Nuestro tradicional anual Baby Shower Comunitario está registrando ahora! Nuestro objetivo es registrar a 30 mamás. Primero registrado, primero servido.
Eligibility criteria/Quien puede inscribirse
- Expecting moms on their third trimester. Mamas embarazadas en su ultimo trimestre.
- 0- 6 months old babies. Bebes de 0-6 meses.
- Live in Jamaica Plain (02130) or Roxbury (02119). (Proof of address required on the day of the event). Vivir actualmente en Jamaica Plain (02130) o Roxbury (02119). Debera apresentar prueba de direccion en el dia del evento.
- Agree to receive a Welcome Baby visit. Welcome Baby is a one-time celebratory visit for parents with newborns through 9 months of age. Our Welcome Baby Home Visitors bring congratulations on the arrival of your new baby and reinforce the importance of reading and talking with your baby for a child’s healthy development and school readiness. Families receive a beautiful WELCOME BABY gift bag filled with special items for the baby.

Nuestros visitadores brindan felicitaciones por la llegada de su nuevo bebé y refuerzan la importancia de leer y hablar con su bebé para el desarrollo saludable y la preparación escolar de un niño. Las familias reciben una hermosa canasta de regalo llena de artículos especiales para el bebé.
